Location

Westwings Aviation operates from two bases: Coventry in the United Kingdom, and Zielona Góra in Poland. This allows us to offer increased flexibility and geographical coverage for our services.

Coventry and West Midlands

Coventry Airport is located under the lowest tier of Birmingham CTA, near the city of Coventry and not far from Birmingham. It has an excellent maintenance base and all facilities you can expect from a modern general aviation airport. At the moment there are no instrument approaches. Ideal base for flying touring and training, a 1-hour flight from Coventry can take you to the South Coast, Wales or East Anglia.

Zielona Góra

A thriving city in the very west of Poland, almost equidistant from Poznań and Berlin. In the vicinity there are a number of well-maintained grass airfields, all suitable for our fleet, and a regional airport with a few scheduled flights a day (EPZG). The air traffic control and a CTR/TMA around the airport offer good exposure to procedural flying and instrument flying training opportunities. Low traffic volumes make for a friendly and relaxed training environment. Proximity of Berlin and Prague, as well as numerous Polish cities, the coastline and mountains all within a 1-hour flight radius, make it a pleasant area for flying touring.
